Changing Lives and Improving Careers Through Cosmetic Dentistry
June’s story is a fantastic example of how even conservative cosmetic dentistry procedures can change not just a person’s smile but also their life. June had been in an accident as a child that irreversibly damaged her front tooth. Over time, the chipped tooth became more and more discolored due to internal nerve damage. Very aware of the darkness of the tooth, June was self-conscious when she smiled or spoke in public and after 20 years of dealing with embarrassment, she decided to have the tooth fixed.
After undergoing root canal therapy, she came to my office for a cosmetic consultation. We decided on a conservative treatment plan involving Britesmile Tooth Whitening and a single porcelain veneer. Matching the color of a single tooth is very difficult, but with the help of digital photography and our expert cosmetic lab Aurem Ceramics, the results were amazing. We often recommend our patients undergo a teeth whitening procedure prior to receiving veneers, crowns or cosmetic bonding so that the cosmetic application can be made to perfectly match the new, whiter tooth shade, making the overall final smile that much more stunning.
We recently spoke with June, and she raved about how happy she is with her new smile. She had just interviewed for a new job and was amazed at how self-assured she now feels in public situations. She credits her new success in landing the job of her dreams in New York from the confidence her new smile has given her.
At Dental Health and Wellness Boston, we are changing lives and careers one tooth and one smile at a time!
